Four sessions, one power cut, and the return of the chair that squeaks.

Monday

Operators, two hours, no incidents. Maria arrived with three pages of notes and used none of them, which is usually a good sign.

Tuesday

The power went at 14:40 and took forty minutes of interview with it. We rerecorded on Thursday and it was better — sharper, less careful, and about eight minutes shorter.

Everything we lost on Tuesday, we got back on Thursday with the fat trimmed off. Not an argument for power cuts, but close.

Wednesday

The squeaking chair came back from repair, still squeaking. It now lives in the corridor, where it can squeak at nobody.

Friday

An unplanned session with a guest who happened to be in Athens for one day. Those are usually the good ones: nobody has had time to prepare a position.
