Every night we have recorded in front of people.

Fourteen nights so far, each with the episode that came out of it. If you were in the room for one of these, you are on the recording — the applause at the end is not a sound effect.

Attendance is what the door counted on the night, not what the venue holds. Nights at Studio B are smaller on purpose: forty people is the most the room takes before it stops sounding like a room.

How a night becomes an episode

Ten days, give or take.

We record the room on eight channels and the audience on two, then spend about a week cutting it. Live episodes get less editing than studio ones — the pauses and the laughs are half of why people came.

Nothing is cut for being awkward. We cut for length, for a siren on Anaxagora, and once for a guest who asked us to, which we agreed to before the recording started rather than after.

About nights that already happened.

Can I get the photographs?

Yes, and they are free to use with a credit to whoever took them. Write to us with the date and we will send a link to the full set.

I was there and I am on the recording.

If you would rather not be, tell us and we will cut the section. It has been asked twice and we did it both times, no questions.

Why is one night missing?

Two recordings failed badly enough not to publish — February 2026 and the second Sound Check. We say so rather than quietly leaving a gap.

The next one

The archive only grows if you turn up.

Two nights a month, a hundred and twenty seats, free at the door at Romantso. Seats go in about a day and members get first refusal.
