Every episode, every transcript and every live night stays free, for everyone, forever. Membership pays the bills that make that possible — and gets you a few things that cost us nothing to give.
Why this exists
One host-read sponsor per episode, never two, and we turn down roughly a third of what we are offered. That is a deliberate ceiling, and it leaves a gap between what the network earns and what it costs to run.
Members close that gap. Six hundred and forty of them at the last count, paying an average of €6.40 a month, which is the reason we can say no to the sponsors we say no to.
The tiers
Prices are per month and include VAT. Every tier can be cancelled from your own Patreon account without writing to anybody, and we do not send a “are you sure” email.
€ 3 a month
The price of a coffee you would have forgotten by Thursday. It covers the hosting bill for one show for one month.

Most people pick this one
€ 7 a month
The tier most people choose, and the one the budget is actually built on. One bonus episode a month, and the parts that did not make the cut.
Seats are held for members until seven days before a taping.
€ 15 a month
For people who come to the live nights anyway. Two seats held at every taping, and a standing invitation to the open studio in December.
Reserved seats are released at the door ten minutes before we start.
€ 40 a month
For businesses and for people who would rather fund the room than buy an ad in it. No editorial say — that is the whole point.
This is not sponsorship. It buys no mention inside an episode.
Where it goes
These are the network’s real proportions, taken from last year’s books. Nobody here draws a salary out of membership alone — it pays for the parts of the work that no sponsor wants to be attached to.
The transcripts line is the one we are asked about most. It is a person, not a machine: automatic transcription gets Greek names wrong and we would rather pay someone to fix them.
How it works
Straight answers
One a month, yes — usually a longer cut or a conversation that did not fit a show. Everything on the public feed stays on the public feed.
In your Patreon account, in two clicks, and it takes effect at the end of the month you already paid for. We do not email you to ask why.
Yes. Write to us and we will send bank details — it saves the platform fee, and for yearly payments that is worth doing.
No. Members vote on one topic a season and that is the whole of it. The host still has the last word, which is the same answer we give sponsors.

If membership is not for you, the cheapest thing that genuinely helps is telling one person about one episode. After that: come to a live night, leave a review, or send a correction.
